Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 2025  ·  Last updated: May 2025

Short version: My PlayMap works entirely in your browser by default. We don't track you, sell your data, or run ads. If you choose to create an account, we store your plays in the cloud using Supabase — only so you can access them. That's it.

1. Who We Are

My PlayMap ("we", "us", "our") is a free online formation and play design tool available at myplaymap.com. We are an independent project. If you have questions, email us at the address listed at the bottom of this page.

2. Data We Collect

What we collect depends on how you use the app:

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics (Google Tag Manager) to understand how people use My PlayMap in aggregate — things like which sports are most popular, which pages are visited, and how many people use the app. This data is anonymous and not linked to your account or identity.

We do not use advertising trackers. My PlayMap does not show ads and we do not sell your data to advertisers.

4. How We Use Your Data

We don't use your data for anything else. We don't send marketing emails. We don't share your data with third parties except as described in this policy.

5. Third-Party Services

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your app settings (like dark mode and your default sport). If you sign in, Supabase stores an authentication token in local storage so you stay logged in.

Google Analytics may set cookies for analytics purposes. You can opt out via your browser settings or Google's opt-out browser add-on.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

If you have an account, your data is stored on Supabase's servers for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data by emailing us. We will action this promptly.

If you use the app without an account, your data lives only in your browser. Clearing your browser's local storage removes it entirely — we never had it.

8. Children's Privacy

My PlayMap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, use the Roadmap to get in touch once contact details are available. Depending on your location, additional rights may apply under laws like GDPR or CCPA.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of My PlayMap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Contact details are in progress and will be updated soon. In the meantime, use the Roadmap to submit feedback.
